How do I order domain hosting?
If you do not already have a domain name click the
Domain Names link anywhere on the site to register
a domain name. Visit our Hosting Plans page to select
a plan that meets your requirements. Click on the "Order" link to order the plan
and remit your payment. Your domain hosting will be setup within 48 hours. You will
receive a Welcome E-mail with login, password, and other necessary information
to set up your web-site.
What is shared (or virtual) web hosting?
Shared hosting, purchasing only part rather then the whole server, offers
a cost effective solution to managing your website. With a shared hosting account
you will receive space on a server, connection to the Internet, and software
tools for you to build and maintain your web site.

What do I get with WXI domain hosting?
When you order domain hosting through WXI,
you receive the disk space and data transfer necessary for your site to be
accessed on the World Wide Web. Additionally, you will receive a software suite
that enables you to manage that space and build your website.
You will manage your site through a web-based Control Panel that guides you
through the more than 30 possible features included with your domain hosting.
What is a domain name and how can I get one?
A domain name is your address on the World Wide Web. To be accessed from
anywhere in the world, a domain name must be registered with an ICANN accredited
registrar. If you already have a domain name, there is no additional cost to
use that domain name with WXI.

Domain Names Registration.

How long does it take to setup a new account?
New hosting accounts are setup within two business days.
Can WXI host domains with country codes?
Yes, WXI hosts domains with any Top-Level Domain extension.
How does WXI provide technical support?
You can contact our support team via the Support
link provided on every page of our site. Telephone support is not currently
available.
Does WXI permit "adult" hosting?
Pornography and sex-related merchandising is prohibited on all our servers.
This includes sites that may infer sexual content, or links to adult content
elsewhere. WXI is the sole arbiter in determining violations
of this provision.
May I promote my site with bulk email?
Sites promoted with, or who send unsolicited, bulk email are not permitted
on our network.
Infrastructure
What is WXI's uptime?
Unfortunately downtime is a natural part of web hosting. It is not possible for any
web hosting provider to deliver 100% uptime, all of the time.
Such a happening is an impossibilty! Servers can have downtime for many different
sorts of reasons. Reconfiguring of the machines, attacks from hackers and
network issues can lead to downtime. The datacenter we use has generators
for back-up power but major electricity shortages could also result in server
downtime. If you find a web hosting company that promises 100% uptime,
they are being dishonest and misleading you in order to secure your business.
Having said all that, we aim for an achievable 99.95% guaranteed uptime.
In order to achieve this our servers are monitored automatically 24/7/365 and if a
server is not online or responsive the monitoring system will reboot that server via
the APC Reboot port within 10 SECONDS.
What are your server specifications?
The current Servers are load balanced utilising Dual Core AMD 64-BIT Opteron™ 275 Processor's with 2GB Ram.
What software runs on your servers?
We use RedHat Linux with Apache, PHP, MySQL, and Perl. For a more complete list

How do I transfer my site to WXI's servers?
Step 1: Sign up for a hosting account through WXI's
Hosting Plans.
Step 2: You will than receive a Welcome Email with your login information
within 2 business days. Log into your account, upload your site, and configure
your email boxes. Test your web site to make sure all pages and scripts are
functioning correctly.
Step 3: Logon to your domain control account at your domain name registrar,
point your domain to the WXI name servers i.e.
NS1.WXI.BIZ and NS2.WXI.BIZ
Your new name
server information is also included in your Welcome Email.
That's it! Your domain name will begin to resolve to your new web site within
24 to 72 hours.

WXI is connected to the Internet via
dedicated 1Gbit link using Linux/Unix
servers hosted and based in USA.
